The Humans
Ian and Margaret
Hi, we’re Ian and Margaret – lifelong dog lovers with over 30 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities. Our doggy day care is run from our home, where every dog is welcomed as part of the family.
Margaret is a qualified and registered professional, while Ian brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a calm, caring approach that helps every dog feel at ease. Together, we make sure each dog in our care feels safe, secure, happy and healthy.
When your dog stays with us, they’ll enjoy a relaxed, homely environment with plenty of love, attention and care – treated just as if they were our own. For us, there’s nothing better than seeing wagging tails, content faces and knowing that every dog truly feels at home.
The Resident Dogs
Ember
A five-year-old rescue Labrador cross from China, Ember’s story is one of resilience and love. After a difficult start in life, she’s found her forever home here with us, where she’s blossomed into a gentle, affectionate companion. She adores cuddles, company, and watching the world go by – and her kind nature brings a sense of warmth and reassurance to every dog who joins our day care family.
George
An 18-month-old Golden Retriever cross rescue from Cyprus, George is full of boundless energy and infectious joy. He spends his days racing through the fields, making new friends, and charming everyone he meets with his playful spirit. Always ready for fun and affection, George brings a burst of sunshine and excitement to life at Chepstow Doggy Daycare.
